Mauritania is a country in North Africa, but the Mauritania I refer to is something a bit different. When I say Mauritania, I am refering to the Kingdom of Mauritania, a small, self-governed, imaginary kingdom located in the country of Mauritania. This kingdom was formed after one very long internet chat with a few friends in the wee hours of the morning.
It's close to what we would think of as a constitutional monarchy. I serve as Queen Maura Sandalfoot, a descendent of a long line of Sandalfoot's, while my friends serve as various members of the court. The kingdom is very small, very poor, and separated from the real world by the Styx river.
